With a sound and presence like no other, Weedeater stands apart from the rest, both live and on their recordings. Spite and deep resentment somehow fuse with comedy and maximum volume to produce an indignant, vomitous (both figuratively and sometimes literally) performance.

Pure, unabashed, musical violence in every form, delivering pissed-off attitude atop a bed of drenching fuzz. It's real, and it's dangerous, and it feels so damn good. A slithering journey though a sludgy world of viscous, black molasses riffs that are punctuated by cannon drums and some of the most memorable lyrics.

Lo-Pan is a Columbus, Ohio based quartet whose latest offering SALVADOR provides a cavalcade of stoner grooves that hit hard and leave marks. This troupe dishes out heaping helpings of thick guitars and rollicking bass and drums, topped off with a soaring lead vocal that combines the grace of Maynard Keenan and the grit of John Garcia.
