The Party insiders have the perfect candidate to take back the Presidency: a straight-talking, celebrated businessman who promises to revive Washington with a breath of fresh air. A couple little matters need to be cleared up--the extramarital affairs, the political naïveté--but soon enough he's on his way to the nomination.
What they don't count on in him having a mind of his own...and a moral fiber that grows stronger and stronger the deeper he gets in the swamp.
An inspiring and cautionary comedy for our time--
all the more because it is surely not of our time!
