Lobby Call: Hygge Huddle

Cozy up this winter weekend with a Hygge-inspired crafting workshop with Amelia Freeman-Lynde of Freemans Creative. Well be drawing on the famous Danish concept of coziness to bring a little extra warmth to our coffee experience with embroidered mug rugs and cup cardigans, plus seasonal mason jar oil lamps. Amelias craft projects are designed for all ages and levels of expertise. So, throw on your most indulgent couch clothes and join us in the Coffee Shop lounge for a restorative afternoon of free crafts, friendly faces and seasonal drink specials.

Amelias craft store, Freemans Creative, opened in the Lakewood shopping center in November 2017 as part of the Scrap Exchanges Reuse Arts District. Freemans Creative works closely with the Scrap Exchange to complement their miscellaneous selection of reuse materials with curated craft and DIY supplies. The space also functions as a workshop for a variety of classes from sewing and knitting to crochet, dyeing and weaving.
