Greg Johnson Big Band

Greg Johnson Big Band Visions of Kansas City. Greg Johnsons latest big band suite is evokes the sound of the Kansas City Era Count Basie Big Band with a modern twist. Greg will be bringing in some of the best musicians from New York and Los Angeles together with some of the San Francisco Bays best musicians for this special one night only performance and recording.

Members of the band have performed with the Count Basie Orchestra, Bob Mintzer Big Band, the Village Vanguard Orchestra, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Brian Setzer Orchestra, BirdLand Big Band and the Electric Squeezebox Orchestra. Band members have started in movies and TV shows as well. There will be a surprise special guest at the end of the night!
