Rancher for a Day
Riemer Family Farm
Brodhead, WI
Partager cet événement :

Spend a day with the Riemer Family on their 280 acre ranch and experience diversified, pasture-based livestock ranching.  You can help Jen & Bryce move cattle to a new paddock, shepherd the lamb flock, pull chicken tractors across the grass, meet Livestock Guard Dogs, collect eggs, pet kittens and care for the baby turkeys. See what it takes to raise a diverse community of animals using regenerative practices.  This workshop includes a local and responsibly raised lunch.

Children (13 and over) may accompany a ticketed adult with their own ticket (for the teen).  Have younger children? Consider signing them up for Ranch Kid for a Day going on at the same time.

A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.

About Riemer Family Farm

Riemer Family Farm is a regenerative and diverse livestock farm that raises delectable, pastured, farm fresh meat and eggs directly from the farm. They care for 280 acres of diverse perennial pasture and hay crops teaming with wildlife: birds, butterflies, small mammals and insects.  Jen and Bryce farm with their three young daughters, Bryce's parents and a couple wonderful employees.  On their pastures you will find: cattle, sheep, chickens, turkeys, hens, pigs and a couple Livestock Guard Dogs.  During the growing season they tend a modest garden and usually have kittens sleeping on the porch of their historic farm house.

CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS.  SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.
