Tim Mercer - Full Band Acoustic
Tim Mercer is back at St. Lawrence Arts after Tim's sold out show a few years ago in celebration of the release of his solo CD "Casey"

Mercers contagious brand of rock and roll has earned him significant praise, not only for his lively blend of guitar and vocals, but also for his lyrical songwriting.

His latest album, Aspartame, is an energetic return to his roots and is being hailed as a great American rock and roll record.
Dripping with blistering guitar riffs, melodic chorus and lyrics born out of the sheer will of survival, Aspartame is the direct in your face American rock record youve been waiting for, said radio personality Nic Harcourt of KCRW in Los Angeles.

Charlie Gaylord of WBLM in Portland agrees. What a great rock and roll record, Gaylord said in a recent review. Big guitars, outstanding production and killer songs. Sets the bar real high for everyone else in 2018.

Before returning to Portland, Maine, Mercer spent 12 years in Brooklyn, New York at the helm of the rock band, Daphne. While there, he racked up national recognition and awards, including top prize at the K-Rock Battle of the Bands, and was a runner-up in the HBO Rock the Stones contest, as well as the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

He was also a semi-finalist out of 16,000 entries in the International Songwriting Contest.

His songs can also be heard in a number of films, including Ted, Ted 2, All Saints Day and Unreal, as well the hit Fox TV show Family Guy.
