BRIEF SYNOPSIS:

As plants become more conscious respecting their overall informational impact, pollution control equipment should be a part of any well-run facility. In this regard, wet scrubbers offer a versatile way of dealing with a wide range of pollutants. From NOx to SOx, Acid gasses, Ethylene oxide and even particulates wet scrubbing is a tried and true method for mitigating even the most hazardous compounds. This presentation will give an overview of the various types of wet scrubbers, their application and operation as well as offer tips for how to best specify new equipment in a way that will meet both the immediate need of the facility as well as long term objectives.

SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY:

With almost 20 years experience in the industry, Greg has served a wide variety of roles over his career, including Sr. Process Engineer for Croll Reynolds Co. and Engineering Manager.

In addition to a masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and bachelors from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Greg is licensed as a Professional Engineer in both New York and New Jersey. A specialist in heat / mass transfer and thermodynamics, Greg is well versed in the complexity of scrubbing systems. He is currently Engineering Sales Manager for CR Clean Air, a supplier of custom engineered pollution control systems for the Chemical Process Industries.
