Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2 (with subtitles) - now playing in Austin
Pakistani romantic comedy Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 (with English subtitles) starring Humayun Saeed, Vasay Chaudhry, Ahmed Ali Butt with Fahad Mustafa, is a sequel to the 2015 film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, directed by Nadeem Baig.
The story revolves around the same three friends as in JPNA, but their lives have completely changed. Pervez and Sheikh find Sherry (Humayun Saeed) in a mental hospital in Bankok with overgrown hair and no desire to live after his wife dies in a parachute accident. The friends have their own troubles and romances while trying to protect Sherry from attempting suicide.
More hilarity and antics follow. While this might be another film about a bunch of dudes trading bro-jokes while they find themselves, it has become the biggest opener in the history of Pakistani cinema.
