Parlor of Mystery presents Comedy & Magic Show
Sunday, November 25 at 7 PM
The Parlor of Mystery will feature the variety talents of popular Long Island performers on November 25. Comedy magician Steve Rodman will lead the local all-star cast featuring magician and emcee Gary Brown, juggler Greg Milstein and new-comer close-up magician Sam Wallach. The fun starts at 7 PM at the South Shore Theatre Experience home of The Parlor of Mystery.
Steve Rodman
Long Island's favorite comedy magician, Steve Rodman, returns to the Parlor by popular demand. Steve has performed magic all across the U.S., including Atlantic City, and Las Vegas and thrilled audiences around the world including Hong Kong, Canada, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Cuba, and Japan. Steve takes a new slant on the classics and has a classy take on what's new with bewitching magic with hilarious comedy.
Greg Milstein
Greg Milstein is the Executive Director of the National Circus Project. He has conducted programs in over 2,000 schools, camps, libraries and community centers throughout America, and has personally taught circus skills to over one million students. Greg represented the USA at the Circus Ring of Friendship, the former Soviet Union's international circus festival. Greg also performed on the main stage at Red Square as part of the 850th Anniversary Celebration of Moscow; in 2004 he appeared at the Gorky Park Theatre of Celebrated Artists as part of the 5th Moscow Circus Festival's "Planet of Clowns." The US State Department commended Gregg several times for his work.
Gary Brown
Gary Brown is a magician, a magic historian, writer, and inventor. His writings include The Coney Island Fakir, an award-winning biography about magic dealer Al Flosso, as well as articles about magic and related phenomena for The New York Times, American Heritage, Emmy, Invention & Technology, and a plethora of conjuring periodicals. He has appeared as a commentator on magic, gambling, deception, and crime on The Discovery Channel, A&E, Court TV, and National Public Radio. Mr. Brown has produced a half-dozen original magic effects which are currently being commercially marketed and have received outstanding reviews in magic publications.
Sam Wallach
Sam is a teen magician who was introduced to magic by a youtube video when he as ten years old. Turned on to the art of deception he undertook an intensive study of the practice of magic. Sam has performed for charity and in various talent shows. This is his first time at the Parlor.
The Parlor of Mystery's is one of many programs presented at the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. It's the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is a small black box theater with comfortable tiered seating for 40.

The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non-profit organization that produces original works and theater classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops.
Parlor of Mystery shows usually take place on the fourth Sunday of every month with different magicians performing different effects.
Tickets are $15 and available online, and at the door, however, space is limited.
