Bunraku Workshop for Puppeteers
Come learn about Bunraku puppets from a master!
Pupper Master Kanya Yoshida from the National Bunraku Theater of Japan is coming to New York, and a special workshop for fellow puppeteers has been arranged by Noh Society (www.nohsociety.org).
Friday, November 30th from 7pm to 8:30pm
La MaMa Rehearsal Studio (47 Great Jones St.)
There will be a demonstration/explanation and an opportunity to handle the puppets followed by Q&A.
The number of participants is limited to 20 on a first-come first-served basis. Participation fee is $40.
