Cormac McCarthy is established as one of New England's finest singer-songwriters. A two-time nominee for the Boston Music Awards (Outstanding Folk/Acoustic Act and Outstanding Folk/Acoustic Album), Cormac tours nationally, sharing his delightful humor and performing his finely crafted songs. He has performed at the Newport Folk Festival on several occasions. He has what The Boston Globe calls a "devastating wit and enormous writing gifts, capable of putting chills into your spine or a silly grin on your face." Cormac's songs reveal some of the magic of real life in a truthful, superbly literate style, delivered with a soulful baritone and a hot guitar.

Cormac has just released an extraordinary new CD, "Collateral," his first release in seven years. The new album is "a remarkable achievement" (Martin England) by a nationally renowned troubador who is regarded by fellow musicians and fans alike as one of New England's best songwriters. Cormac writes and sings of a heartfelt, sometimes funny, sometimes desperate, sometimes glorious world of common people, struggles, hope, relationships, madness, and love.
