Classic Film: A League of their Own
The Sherwood Center for the Arts is excited to present the 4th Annual Classic Film Series! Check a few films off your bucket list this season. Join your neighbors on Thursday evenings (once a month) to celebrate and explore classic film favorites! Join us this month for the classic family comedy/drama, A League of their Own. As Americas stock of athletic young men is depleted during World War II, a professional all female baseball league springs up in the Midwest, funded by publicity-hungry candy maker Walter Harvey. Competitive sisters Dottie Hinson and Kit Keller spar with each other. Sweet treats and popcorn will be available for purchase.
