Summer Sing
Sheri Bauer-Mayorga and young members of the Good Globe Singing School will lead the July 8 Sing. This evening of a capella singing for all ages will include Rounds, Shanties, Traditional Ballads, Call and Answer songs from the sea, the English Country side, the mountains, the past, from future dreams, and from some of the Good Globe singers themselves. Children eight and under must be accompanied by an adult. Bauer-Mayorga is a pianist, vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist. A champion of American music, she has performed throughout New York State and in California. Her recordings "On The Wrong Side Of The Railroad Tracks," and "American Snapshots: 200 Years of American Song" are available on TownHall Records. The sings are open to all and meet three Monday evenings in a row.
