Fond Farewells House Concert:
Roots Hoot House Concerts welcomes all-star band Fond Farewells to the abode on Saturday, December 8. Who is this band, you may wonder? All based in the New York City area, Fond Farewells are the singer-songwriters Chris Mills ("one of music's hidden gems" - Cleveland Plain Dealer) and Megan Reilly (called "immediately captivating" by Interview magazine and who played one heckuva memorable Roots Hoot show a bundle of years ago), Mekons and Graham Parker drummer Steve Goulding, and noted sound engineer and bassist Scott Anthony. The foursome found their oats as a collective a few years ago and are a blossoming entity on the NYC indie music scene. Simply put, this will be a special one and if we were you all out there, no way would we miss this one. Find out for yourself right here in the heart of the Rocky Brook section of Peace Dale!
