HALLOWEEN 2018 with BLACK CHRISTMAS and HALLOWEEN 1978
Triple Feature: BLACK CHRISTMAS, 1974, Shout Factory, 98 min. Dir. Bob Clark. Personally requested by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride in reference to its inspiration on HALLOWEEN.The college town of Bedford is receiving an unwelcome guest this Christmas. As the residents of sorority house Pi Kappa Sigma prepare for the festive season, a stranger begins to stalk the house. A series of obscene phone calls start to plague the residents of the sorority and it becomes clear that a psychopath is homing in on the sisters with dubious intentions. And though the police try to trace the calls, they discover that nothing is as it seems during this Black Christmas. Olivia Hussey, Keir Dullea, Margot Kidder, Andrea Martin and John Saxon star in this Canadian-produced cult favorite, one of the first slasher films.

Inspired by Carpenters classic, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride crafted a story that carves a new path from the events in the landmark 1978 shocker.
