Battle of the Sinatras

The Glass City Swing Band (GCSB) will present Battle of the Sinatras on November 2, 2018 with an evening of Frank Sinatra tunes. What makes this concert special is GCSB will be highlighting Westmoreland County high school students in the first half. They will be competing for one of three cash prizes. The judges for the evening will be Dr. Rod Booker, Kelli Brisbane and the audience. The second half of the concert will be more songs of Sinatra sung by GCSB's very own Todd Reagan and Caryn Dettling. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Ed Christofano. The concert is sponsored by Hayden's Pharmacy.

This will be a great time to come and celebrate Sinatra, the man and his music. You won't go away disappointed!

The venue for this event is at the Greensburg Salem Middle School Auditorium. The concert starts at 7:00 pm and will be approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Ticket prices are: Adults $15 and students $7. Adult tickets in advanced online are $12.50 and student tickets can be purchased online as well. You may also purchase all tickets online, in advance by calling 724-374-3777, or at the door.

Glass City Swing Band Incorporated is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that benefits others through music by supporting our mission which is twofold: 1. Disabilities awareness and arts therapies, and 2. Preserving history through music, specifically that of the swing era. GCSB is located in Westmoreland County Pennsylvania in the City of Jeannette, formally known as The Glass City. We are an 18-piece big band mainly performing music of the 1930's and 1940's.
