The Pattern
This short film is inspired by the real events pertaining to the 1988 chemical attack of Halabja, Iraq. The film captures the last moments of a traditional rug being woven, as the rug weaver reflects on her feelings and what she has been through; although in reality not all the patterns in her mind have made it to the rug.

IN THE FURY! (If a Peacock Screams)
On September 22nd, 2017, The US embassy in Havana was the subject of a mysterious, untraceable Acoustic Attack. which resulted in permanent brain damage and total hearing loss. To this day, the US government refuses to release details, and the attack remains a mystery. Due to its inherent intangibility, one can only guess at the ultimate capabilities and limitations of weaponized sound. Manic browser tab surfing, from fox news pundits to youtube vlogs to grainy sonic conspiracies of the past, triangulates an unknowable truth. Attack is a collage less concerned with reporting than with stalking the lingering paranoia provoked by sinister sonic invasions.

Mermaids and Rhinos
Eight-year-old Tildas memories of her family as surrealistic visions come into life: the circus member ex-mermaid grandmother, the erotically overheated mother and the disappeared father whose broken heart, anger and jealousy manifest as a rhino. The acts of present and the past are in constant metamorphoses and transformation. The characters overstep their own and the surrounding worlds physical borders. Tildas life is full of grotesque, bizarre characters hungry for love. The atmosphere of wistfulness, desire, passion and sorrow frame the story.
