PARKER GISPERT
Parker Gispert's band The Whigs set the standard for what it means to be an indie rock band from the American South in modern times. They've seen it all, from their garage-rock-in-concrete-rooms beginnings to major festivals and late night TV appearances.
Following a seventeen-year run, the band members have started to move in different directions. They haven't broken up - but life has pushed them to different muses for now.
Gispert is branching out on his own and is in the midst of recording his debut solo album. He's released a single, and an album is expected later this year. In the meantime, he's hitting the road for some solo dates.
Cream Puff Records and Recover Brands are thrilled to welcome Parker Gispert to Charlotte for an intimate living room set. As usual, free beer will be provided....and you can of course bring your own.
