October 20th Farm to Table Dinner
This evening is set up to help showcase fresh products from local farms (within 100 miles) and from our own farm to help support the local food movement. Each dinner is prepared by a professional Chef. We would love to invite you to join our family at our farm for an amazing evening of food, wine, music, supporting local farms, and a beautiful atmosphere to just take a walk and enjoy the scenery.

You can take a stroll around our farm, enjoy some live music by a local artists, wine tasting with wine from Aubrey Vineyards, and an amazing 5 course meal prepared by a professional Chef. The October Chef will be Chef Jeff Tinkham.

We are also so excited about the fact that each one of our Farm to Table Dinners will go to support a great cause. Our October Dinner will be supporting Hope Haven of Cass County. Hope Haven exists to provide safe shelter, concentrated supportive services, community resources, and education to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Not only do you get to come have a great evening with amazing food, but you also have the opportunity to give to a great organization.

Our musician for this evening is Peter Assad. Peter lives in Kansas City, MO with his wife Grace and their three children. He is a pastor, church planter, singer, songwriter, pianist, and published composer with a degree in music from Mason Gross School of Arts (Rutgers University

October Dinner Menu:
Upon Arrival enjoy a Smoked Gouda and Apple Fondue with our Homemade Artisan Bread Toast Points and Apples from our Orchard. We will also have assorted Sheep Cheese Spreads from Green Dirt Farms in Weston, MO.
2nd Course: Fall Harvest Salad with Fresh Apples, Dried Cranberries, Roasted Pumpkin Seeds and a Cider Vinaigrette.
3rd Course: Roasted Butternut Squash Soup topped with a Cilantro Crema and Sour Dough Croutons, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Crispy Bacon and a splash of Calvados.
Main Course: Bacon Wrapped Pork Filets with an Apple Brandy Cider Glazed Pan Sauce served with Sweet Potato Swirl and Brown Sugar Butter Glazed Acorn Squash and Assorted Vegetables.
Dessert: Our Famous Homemade Apple Pie (from Upcycled Orchard) made with Assorted Apples from our orchard and topped with a scoop of Homemade Ice Cream from Poppy's Ice Cream.  

Event:
$69/person + tax + tip (Donation amount to the organization will be separate) Ticket includes 5 course meal prepared by professional Chef and music throughout the evening by local artist. Reservations only. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Wine Options (Aubrey Vineyards):
Wine Tasting Package: $10/person
(5 - 2 oz. pours of wines that are paired with each course)
Advance Wine Package: $18/person paid at booking
(3 glasses of wine of your choice from the wine pairing)
Wine by the glass: $7-$9
We will also have a couple of local beer options available for purchase that evening.  

Arrive around 6pm. From time of arrival until 6:50pm enjoy appetizers in the courtyard, live music, and feel free to walk around the farm. Dinner will start at 7pm.

Must have RESERVATIONS by October 17th! Seating is limited, so call today! You can always check in with us past this date in case we have any extra seats available. Best way in from 7 Hwy if you are coming from I-49 - Turn North on Kauffman Rd (Upcycled Orchard - red building is right on the corner. Go past the orchard and take your first driveway to the right. That will lead you right to our parking lot.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, but ID will be required for purchase of any alcohol.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from this event?

Will you have any options for vegetarians or vegans?
Sorry, this event is not a good choice for vegetarians, vegans, or gluten intolerant individuals. Since we are not a full service restaurant, this menu is set and we do not have the capacity to make appropriate substitutions to accommidate guests with these dietary restrictions.

Is there a dress code for this event?
No, but we do encourage you to dress accordingly if you are interested in taking a walking tour of our farm/garden. You may desire a jacket. We do have sidewalks and paths to the gardens, but will have to walk through some gravel.
