Zella by Sir Ervin Williams
Zella- Is a compelling story about an African American woman who was born in Tupelo Mississippi in 1909. The play spans from 1930's - 1950's. The play begins with Zella family being burned out of their home. Zella is forced to move from Mississippi to St. Louis MO; she discovers that life in St. Louis isn't always what it is cracked up to be. Zella experience abuse, sexism, rape, racism and the murder of her son. This theatrical production will have the audience on the edge of their seats.
