TOTAL SILK EXPERIENCE A Three- or Five-Night Workshop
With Joan Hitchcock and Sue Wachter

WORKSHOP LIMITED TO 12 STUDENTS TOTAL

Learn everything you need to make beautiful silk dyed scarves for yourself, gifts or to sell. Joan and Sue, professional silk dyers and designers, will provide you with full design. finishing instruction and supplier information. There are three options available so chose the one that best fits your needs.

Everyone will take Introduction to Silk with Joan Hitchcock and Sue Wachter (October 23) covering basic silk dying, color mixing, texturing, steam setting, microwave setting.

Option One Intro and Layering
Introduction and Wax/Dye Focus Experience $120.00
October 23, and 30 and November 6
Joan Hitchcock will guide you as you design a scarf using hot wax to produce a line and/or color layering pattern. Includes three completed scarves

Option Two Intro and Line Work
Introduction and Resistad Focus Experience $120.00
October 23, November 13, and 27
Sue Wachter guide you as design a scarf using Restad to create lines to create a pattern. Includes three completed scarves

Option Three The Total Silk Experience
For a total Silk Dye Experience attend all 5 nights $175.00
