Sips and Sliders for Sonia

Sonia Ferguson is a single mother of her beautiful daughter Evie age 13. Sonia works at the State Department of health and in her spare time also helps with the Relay for Life to help with others with cancer.
Sonia was first diagnosed with cancer on November 20th 2014. Once the treatments were completed Sonia and her daughter Evie were excited to put this rough part of their life behind them.
In December 2017 Sonia's cancer markers stated to rise. She was told that she had reoccurrence of colorectal cancer. She was then treated in Seattle and was recently told that because of the location of the tumors that she may have to see a specialist in New York City is this next aggressive treatment of Chemo fails. To her, it was a no brainer, she will do anything she can to be here for her daughter.
Sonia will be going through her second round of Chemo and her 4th surgery if she goes to New York.
Now, Sonia has to not only go through the struggle of the disease but also try to figure out how she is going to handle this financially. It could possibly put her out of work for a min of 5 weeks if not longer if she needs to go to New York, in addition to the cost of the trip.
TLOL is putting together a fundraiser to help this amazing woman get the financial help that she needs during this tremendously tough time in her and her daughters life.
Sips N Sliders will be a fun night of eating, drinking and games.
$20 will get you one beverage and one Pulled Pork Slider basket. Lets have fun while also raising money for an amazing cause.
There is also an slots being sold for the Lip Sync Battle during the event. Cost is $15 and the prize will be released soon, but its going to be a great one!
