On the evening of August 22, 2018 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, a unique, interactive live art event will take place in midtown Manhattan. Take Your Best Shot will be an opportunity for photographers at all levels to step up their portrait and head shot game with personable models in a variety of looks, and for observers to get a taste of a professional photo shoot.
Live art soirée series curator and up-and-coming performance artist Hardy Brooklyn is active in the bodypainting and underground arts, music, film, and fashion scene as a model, event producer, and arts enthusiast. His energy is synonymous with being the life of the party, and he has inspired unique works by a series of up-and-coming artists.
Professional photographers will be on hand if you want tips and tricks for getting the best shots. You'll also be able to take home one high-quality print up to 11x17" of your best photo (list price $35) -- included in the $30 ticket price!
Solas Studio is Manhattan's only 24-hour boutique photo production studio, conveniently located just steps from Herald Square and Penn Station. Solas Studio is a full service production partner. Everyone from first-time hobbyists to veteran professionals can benefit from the studios hands-on, fine-art approach and portfolio of resources - from framing and mounting, to promotional printing, to graphic design and art handling.
