3rd Annual BBQ on the Bend
The 3rd Annual BBQ on the Bend HAS MOVED! Same Date, Same time, just at 190 James River Road, across from Food Lion of Scottsville in Dansey's field. There will be plenty of parking so come on out!
This people's choice competition will feature 8 of Virginia's best bbq teams smoking up some of their finest pulled pork for you to try and attendees judge the winner Proceeds from this year's BOTB will benefit the Virginia Wheelin' Sportsmen; a local chapter of a nationwide 501(c)3 that assists injured and wheelchair-bound sportsmen in getting out to enjoy all that nature has to offer.
Competitors will be cooking off for a grand prize of $1000. Cookers will begin their smoking on Friday night and the gates will open to the public at 11am on Saturday.
Throughout the day we will have awesome auction items and live music by Cason Spencer & The East Lex Boys. It's going to be a smoking good time so spread the word and we can't wait to see you there!
