ALBUQUERQUE CHAMBER SOLOISTS presents PARTNERSHIPS
We're thrilled with this final concert of the season! We have an all-star lineup of musicians, including the dynamic violinist Carmelo de lo Santos and, making a return to Albuquerque, former AYS music director Gabriel Gordon!

Our theme for this concert is partnerships, and we explore it with two pieces for duos: Barriere's Sonata for two cellos from the late Baroque period, and Prokofiev's Sonata for 2 violins from 1932. We will close with Brahms' magnificent Sextet for Strings in G major, written for paired violins, violas, and cellos. We also included Samuel Barber's haunting Dover Beach for baritone and string quartet.

Join us at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 2:15 for our popular pre-concert reception with goodies from Napoli Coffee and a discussion about the day's music with ACS cellist and president James Holland
