ALBUQUERQUE CHAMBER SOLOISTS presents CURIOSITIES
Start your musical 2019 with a concert featuring some lesser known gems of the chamber music literature. We will feature lyrical works for piano and strings by two composers from the UK - Scotland's James MacMillan and England's Frank Bridge, as well as a curious duo for two violins by the American composer Stephen Hartke humorously entitled "Oh Them Rats is Mean in My Kitchen"!  We did include a well-known work in the mix, the beloved "Quinten" string quartet by Haydn.

This concert is a bit of a family affair: besides husband-and-wife ACS regulars Megan and James Holland, we are thrilled to be joined by Megan's sister and ABQ native Robyn Julyan and her husband Benjamin Tomkins!

Our concert begins at 3:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Be sure to come at 2:15 for our popular pre-concert reception with goodies from Napoli Coffee and discussion about the day's program with ACS cellist and president James Holland.
