Sea Dogs at Along the Way Coffeehouse

A part of the well know Gloucester based Chantey group "Three Sheets to the Wind", The Sea Dogs include Peter and Audi Souza, Ernie and Amy Pigeon and Gary Foreman.

Peter, who heads up Three Sheets To The Wind, designed The Sea Dogs as a way to bring sea music to small venues, such as our coffee house. He is known far and wide for his renditions of the music of the seas, and his deep and strong vocals. His connection to the Sea Chantey community world-wide has done much to strengthen the local Chantey scene.

Peter's wife, Audi adds a thrilling voice and an exciting choice of songs to the mix, with an amazing range and strength. When not singing, Audi is a fine artist working in acrylics and pastels, Audi's work is gaining recognition throughout the North Shore and beyond.

Ernie, always in pursuit of new material, both from the long ago past and from contemporary writers of sea music, has been singing with Three Sheets for the past decade, and will be bringing in a few songs he is sure will be new to the coffee house audience.

Amy sings backup for the group. She and husband Ernie are familiar figures to the audience of the coffee house, which they manage. Amy is heavily involved with many aspects of the "First Church In Ipswich", where she and Ernie also sing in the choir.

Gary, the manager of Gallery Operations at the USS Constitution Museum in Charlestown, brings an extremely wide range of material to the group, some of which he has written, along with his gravelly voice and banjo/guitar accompaniment.

As with any appearance of a Three Sheets To The Wind group, be it a "Mini", "Small", or "Full Crew" event, the audience is strongly encouraged to join in!
