Great Music on Sundays @5 presents "THE NEW PROVINCETOWN FOLLIES"
Jay Baer, who wrote musical parodies in high school, college and medical school, has created a Forbidden Provincetown style musical revue for the new century. The tunes are familiar, the lyrics delightfully fresh, funny and full of Provincetowns notable quirks while still being a musical love letter to a unique community. Several songs premiered at the sold-out February 2018 Boston Gay Mens Chorus production "Theres No Place Like Home: A Wicked Good Cabaret". This concert is the first full performance of Baers wonderfully witty observations about our town at lands end.
"The New Provincetown Follies" features a dozen fabulous singers, creator and lyricist Jay Baer, and musical director and pianist John Thomas.
