I'm Just Fine

"I'm Just Fine" is my stand-up style solo show that asks you to laugh at my pain. Pain is a personal and private experience, but it is also universal. So lets talk about it. And joke about it. Because when we laugh, nothing hurts.

Ive been sick on and off for ten years now, and were still not sure whats wrong with me. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease caused by hypothyroidism. While most people take benign drugs and feel instantly better, I didnt. I got worse.
I went back and forth to a myriad of doctors until I finally started taking my health into my own hands. There were moments when I thought I could fully recover, and moments when I knew I probably wouldnt. Being sick is just part of my identity. And you know what? Accepting that fact makes me feel pretty good.
