Pop Up Kitchen: Lost Lake Dinner with Jess Young

Jess is life-long Alaskan and lover of food. She's been a baker, cake maker, cook on the train, & itinerant chef for hire. These days she is a yoga teacher, occasional scientist, & DIY Airstream renovator in the heart of Spenard. This table is inspired by her love of warm, hearty meals; Alaska's finest, fresh flavors; and her family's cajun roots. As an extra dash of love, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Lost Lake Run for Cystic Fibrosis, which Jess will be running (walking) in for the second year in a row as part of the Anchorage Yoga & Cycle team.

"I'm a scientist, I believe in research, and I know how hard it is to get funding. So to be a part of this amazing race, which raises money for something so important as helping a person BREATHE, of course I'll put on a pair of running shoes and do this." Jess puts on the running shoes so you don't have to. Instead you can enjoy this fantastic meal knowing that a portion of your ticket price will go to this great cause.
