Chicago Brew Werks / Werk Force Brewing Wort Share
In celebration of the American Homebrewers Association's national Big Brew Day, we are excited to share some of our brewery's wort with you!
Here's How It Will Work: 1.Save the Date May 5th, 2018 2.The wort is free of charge. Yes that's right, free. 3.Sign up online at https://bit.ly/2r7OAht. There are limited slots and only those with a ticket will be able to receive the wort. 4.If you got a ticket, that's friggin' awesome! Go have a beer to celebrate. 5.Be at Werk Force Brewing promptly at 12:00pm on May 5th with a sanitized 6 gallon carboy & bung or bucket & lid IT IS IMPORTANT that your vessel is clean. Like we said - no ticket, no wort. 6.We will mash, lauter and transfer the wort into our boil kettle. We will briefly boil the wort for 15 minutes to pasteurize it. You NEED to have your carboy/bucket here by 12:00pm sharp to receive the wort. 7.Once the wort is pasteurized, we will be chilling the wort and transferring it into the vessel you brought. 8.Take the free wort home and continue the brew day! Add your own combination of hops, adjuncts and yeast to create a unique beer. We will be brewing with some of the wort as well at Werk Force and will have it on tap a few weeks after the event.

Approximate Post Boil Original Gravity: 1.070 Mash Temperature: 152 degrees Fahrenheit Mash Duration: 60 Minutes Wort Color: 8.8 SRM
