A young woman struggles to cope with crippling anxiety. Her new friend, Sverre, doesn't seem to mind her social irregularities even if he is at times oblivious to the darkness that consumes her. Ensammen perfectly depicts the frightening confusion of anxiety and an unspoken yearning for companionship. Balanced with the hopeful optimism of an unexpected friendship, this story is executed with quality acting and uncomplicated storytelling. The result is an understanding for the all-too-common social isolation felt by a generation consumed by social media.
