THE '76 HOUSE COMEDY NIGHT
It will be an evening of great food and laughs at our next Comedy Night at the '76 House in Tappan, NY, on Thursday, April 12, 2018, produced by J. Irwin Productions. Show tickets and dinner reservations easily available through Brown Paper Tickets.
The headliner is the very funny PATTY ROSBOROUGH, a nationally known comic who has appeared on Comedy Central, A&E, Showtime and VH-1. Patty has been on the big screen in Jacobs Ladder and Goodbye Baby and headlined the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. A past winner of the Ladies of Laughter Competition, Patty co-hosts the weekly podcast Chick Chat with Carie Karavas on I-tunes, YouTube, and Facebook Live.
Also on the bill will be:
GLADYS SIMON, the Comedy Legend who has mentored the nation's top comics for decades. Gladys has worked Comedy Clubs across the country and calls Comic Strip Live in New York City her comedy home, where she regularly produces shows right in "Gladys' Room."
GEORGE SALTZ, a retired Clinical Psychologist who has appeared at Broadway Comedy Club and Comic Strip Live in New York City. George has appeared here at the '76 House several times in the past 4 years.
KAREN ANGRIST, who has appeared at Comic Strip Live in NYC and here at the 76 House
MOLLY KORNFELD, one of New York Citys top up-and-coming comedians, is the daughter of our headliner, Patty Rosborough, and her dad is a former stand up comic. She appears regularly at Comedy venues throughout the NYC metro area and has recently performed at the Boston Comedy Festival and the Cinderblock Comedy Festival.
TERESA DE GAETANO, our host tonight, has performed at Comedy Clubs throughout the Tri-state area, including previously here at the 76 House. Shes been seen on TV on Impractical Jokers, The Wendy Williams Show, Good Morning America, Dr. Oz, and on Lifetime Network. Teresa has been heard on Andy Cohens Radio Andy on Sirius XM and was a finalist in The She Devil Comedy Festival.
The '76 House is New York's oldest tavern, a 300-year old structure that has been restored to pristine condition by the Norden Family and is listed as a National Landmark. Besides the historical significance, patrons now enjoy fabulous food prepared by their acclaimed chef in a comfortable and hospitable atmosphere.
