To ensure a smooth release we are selling a preorder package and will have a Will Call Ticket Holder Line, as well as a general public line.
The $60 ticket will give you:
Pre-purchase 3 bottles: 1 2018 Enlightened Despot and 1 2018 Hide the Despot and 1 Variant brewer's choice.
One pint glass and tasting wristband for 4oz tasting pours during Despot Day.
The ticket allows you access to the Will Call line to purchase the remaining Despot and Variants on a first come first serve basis and provides a tasting wrist band and glass.
General Public Sale will open to the public @ 12pm and have a separate line.

The Despot Doth Come

The Enlightened Despot is an amazingly rich, complex and surprisingly drinkable Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout. Notes of chocolate, vanilla, and, of course, delicious hints of Bourbon round out this robust stout. The 2018 version was aged for 12 months in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels. Made with 10 specialty grains and containing over 78 IBUs of American Hop flavor, this truly is a one of a kind beer.
Beer Advocate rates the Enlightened Despot a 94 saying, "The beer geeks love their Imperial Stouts, and a small handful garner enough hype to draw massive crowds around their release. This one is just as deserving as the next. A sweet malt bomb with roasted grain and alcohol is not all that is going on here; there's also layers of chocolate and coffee met by alcohol warmth. Something to savor."
