GUZHENG EVOLUTION: Tradition In A Modern World
During this years anniversary concert, Chinas Spirit Music Ensemble will be honoring our
organizations mission, celebrating the beauty of tradition and incorporating its beauty and history in to this modern world.
The guzheng (Chinese zither) is a traditional instrument with over 2,500 year in Chinas history. Its beauty in sound and presence is winning over the world. The musical arrangements in this years concert will reflect our mission of combine classical pieces, folk songs and legends with modern ensemble arrangements and narratives that will walk you through the history and culture of China and America.
