Dikeman, Townkeepers, Piazza, Shead
Adam Shead (Dave Rempis, Tim Daisy, Mary Oliver) brings his new quartet with Amsterdam's John Dikeman (William Parker, Tatsuya Nakatani, Cactus Truck) and Casper Townkeepers (Han Bennink, Ken Vandermark, Terrie Ex) along with Chicago bassist Tony Piazza to Arts + Literature Laboratory. Adam Shead met both Dikeman and Townkeepers during his research in Amsterdam, NL where he subsequently recorded a duo album with each performer, these recordings resulted in a long running musical kinship that draws influence from Free Jazz, Hip Hop, Noise, and Punk. Come see the show Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at 8pm. Tickets $10 in advance online, or $12 at the door. Online sales end one hour before the performance. Doors open at 7:30pm.
