The Serpent and the Sailor and the Stars in the Sky

Join us for an original work by composer, and PMFS music & drama teacher, John B Hedges: The Serpent and the Sailor and the Stars in the Sky.
The musical, based on several ancient Egyptian stories and myths, is a tale about friendship, love, and the power of sharing our stories. In addition to performing the show, the Sixth Graders have conceived and created the musical's fantastic design elements (sets, costumes, puppets), under the supervision of PMFS art teacher Gillian Pokalo.
The musical is appropriate for children of ALL AGES!!!
* (pronounced Ahnk! Wedja! Seneb!) A traditional Ancient Egyptian greeting meaning 'Life! Prosperity! Health!' often in reference to the pharaoh
