Richie Williams: A Valentine's Open Mic!

This show will feature two special guests, Jo Marchese and Mary Lovelace, followed by an open Mic for all of the brunch participants. Richie will host this gift of song. Come one, come all, but dont forget to get your tickets early to this much, anticipated event. Bring a love song in your key please and if you dont sing, just bring your ears! Is your figure a work of art? Is your mouth a little tart? When you open it to sing we will all take heart! Looking forward to hearing some of Manhattans most melodious voices for this very special Valentines soiree.

Richie William's returns to Pangea, this time, sharing the mic! As a Poet, Singer and Jazz Historian, Richie seems to carry the entire American Songbook in his hip pocket and is often referred to as The downtown Bobby Short. Richie's voice and style echo the mellow tones of both Nat and his brother Freddie Cole. This, coupled with his charismatic charm, funny-bone good humor and off the cuff style, often serve up a fun filled and edgy performance that leaves The Song Book Smiling. And this same upbeat wit has spilled over of late, to a possible second career as an MC?

Richie has performed at numerous venues beginning his career at Barry Harriss, legendary Jazz Culture Theatre. He has also performed at many venues in Manhattan including, The Triad, Dont Tell Mama and St. Peters (The Jazz Church). He is a mainstay in the Big Apples thriving jazz cabaret scene including, Thalias, Zebs, Kitanos, and Cobi Naritas Jazz Forum.

Seating at Pangea is communal. Other guests may be seated at the table. THERE IS A $20 FOOD OR BEVERAGE MINIMUM AT THE TABLES. LUNCH SEATING BEGINS AT NOON.

The house opens one hour before the show. Please arrive early to place your order.

Late arrivals will be seated at management's discretion.
