Paul McCandless/Christian Foley-Beining Collaboration!

Jazz lovers take note! OCA is pleased to present the Paul McCandless/Christian Foley-Beining Collaboration .This stellar quartet features Grammy winner Paul McCandless on saxophone, bass clarinet and oboe and renowned guitarist Christian Foley-Beining playing acoustic and electric guitar ; with Tom Shader on bass and Tom Hayashi on drums. They will be playing original compositions by McCandless and Foley-Beining.

Paul McCandless is a gifted multi-instrumentalist (oboe, bass clarinet, saxophone, woodwinds) and composer whose soaring lyricism and grounding in both classical and jazz disciplines has been integral to the sound of the original Paul Winter Consort as well as the innovative quartet OREGON. His 1996 Grammy with Bela Fleck & The Flecktones was followed by two nominations in 2001 for a CD featuring OREGON and the Moscow Tchaikovsky Orchestra. www.paulmccandless.com .

Christian Foley-Beining is a German native who studied at Swiss Jazz School and Berklee School of Music as well as being on the faculty of Musicians Institute in Hollywood for eight years.
