Asheville Follies New Years Day 9pm Show

Asheville Follies is a weekly Monday night variety show at Taylor Gallery at Cotton Mill Studios in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC. This, the very first Asheville Follies will feature Bellydance Acts by Sera Sahara, Lollipop Lyra and Burlesque by Ella Minnope, Puppet Acts by Toy Box Theater (America's Favorite Cartoon Witch), Improv Comedy by "Rigel & Friends", and Stand-up by host Lucky Rigel 7.

Seriously, bring your own. When we get a beer sponsor, Beer will be given away. But until then, bring what you like and enjoy it. Don't overpay for your booze and skip tipping the bartender.

$10 day of the show / door price.

Doors at 6:30 for 7pm show (which will start precisely at 7:15. That's what you call, "7pm; Asheville Time". The first half of the show will last between thirty three and forty minutes. There will be a nine and a half minute intermission. And the second half of the show will last about a half hour. We could have fit fifteen more minutes of show in the show. But, Asheville is always so late. Anyway. It's a little over an hour, total. And, that's a good length for a show. You've got other stuff to do.

Then, as the early crowd departs, the late crowd will arrive all between 8:54 and 9:14. Because, this is Asheville. Try not to get here after 9:17. Because we are starting at precisely 9:18 pm for the 9 pm show. Seriously, You get here at 9:23 for the 9 pm show, you're going to have missed the beginning. I tell my best jokes at the beginning.

Similar to the early show, the late show will be a little over an hour long, total. Not counting the intermission, which might be a little longer for the late show. But, not a lot longer. You've got other stuff to do.
