TRU Teaching Practice Colloquium 2018
Reaching Through Teaching
The Teaching Practices Colloquium is a chance for faculty to come together to learn from each other and to share our knowledge and experience about teaching. This year, the central theme of the 2018 TRU Teaching Practices Colloquium is Reaching through Teaching. Faculty roles in teaching, research, and service reach broadly to students, the community, and beyond. How do you reach through your teaching to ensure inclusivity in your classrooms? How are you reaching the goals of reconciliation, indigenization and internationalization? What actions are you taking in your teaching to contribute to sustainability?
We invite you to attend to TRUs 14th annual Teaching Practices Colloquium and share your stories, ideas, and successful practices. Take time to reflect on your own teaching and learning, connect with others and together, lets reach out to spark new ideas and conversations around these important issues and concepts in contemporary teaching practices.
**Late registration will be available at the door of TPC (outside of the Clock Tower Theatre) on Feb 19th, 8am to 10am, cost $30.00 cash or cheque.
