Rio Con Brio - Brazilian Mandolin & Guitar. Formed in 2005 in Portland, Oregon, Rio Con Brio has established itself as one of the Northwest's premiere performers of choro, the early 20th century street music of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Influenced by Afro-Brazilian rhythms and the cafe music of Italy, France, and Portugal, choro is both exotic and familiar, evoking in turn the carnival of Rio and the cafes of Paris. Performing on acoustic mandolin and guitar with virtuosity and passion, Rio Con Brio plays music that is festive, beautiful, and perfect for every setting...

Marla Fibish - A San Francisco native, Marla is a long time feature of the Bay area Irish music scene...and an unapologetic proponent of the mandolin in Irish music. Marla currently plays in the trio Three Mile Stone with fiddler Erin Shrader and guitar/tenor banjo player Richard Mandel. Three Mile Stone released its eponymous CD in
March 2010 to enthusiastic response. She also plays in a duo with the legendary Irish singer and bouzouki player Jimmy Crowley. Marla plays mandola, tenor guitar and
button accordion. Bruce is from Detroit and has fully brought his Motown-and-Klezmer musical heritage to his current repertoire of finger-style guitar, Celtic, and Americana music. He has most recently performed with the Triplicates (with Tom Neylan, Rory McNamara, and Marian Hubler) as well as with the briefly-lived-but-nonetheless memorable Sirens of San Francisco (with Stevie Coyle and Marian Hubler).

Marla and Bruce have recently joined musical forces and are having a great time combining their musical interests and setting a lot of strings into vibration. They have begun work on a CD project together  a 'concept album' that will feature mostly Marla's songs, centered around the theme of nocturnal perambulations. Bruce brings his eclectic musical background, a proclivity for open tunings, and a sense of adventure to the project. Together they explore lush, ringy, stringy settings for these unique songs.

Kieran Jordan, based in Boston, Massachusetts, is a performer, teacher, and choreographer of Irish dance. Born and raised in Philadelphia in an Irish American family, Kieran started Irish dancing at age five. As a teenager, she was inspired by the work of musician and folklorist Mick Moloney. She fell in love with traditional Irish music and has been performing as a featured solo dancer since her high school years.

Kieran has performed throughout North America and Europe, collaborating with some of today's finest performers in Celtic music. Her style is fluid, musical, and expressive  combining the formal elegance of Irish step dance technique, with the playful, personal approach of improvised percussive dance. She has a particular passion for sean-nós (old-style) Irish dance and has become a major figure in introducing it to the USA. Her other influences include Cape Breton and French-Canadian step dance, as well as contemporary modern dance. With a physical presence on stage that is both grounded and expansive, Kieran's dancing conveys vitality, subtlety, and an intuitive sense of rhythm.
