SHAKESPEARE PROGRAM : Juliets Journey

LITERATURE PROGRAM: Expectations
What happens when we have expectations of others or they have expectations of us, but things dont turn out the way we expect them to? Using a series of Shakespearean and contemporary scenes, Expectations will provide your students with an entertaining insight into the world of expecting the unexpected.
The actors will be pairing the following scenes (subject to change):

Cedric Lamar* Cedric Lamar is thrilled to be returning for his second season of the School Visit Program. He has been a member of the acting company at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for the past four seasons where he was seen in productions of Pericles, Hamlet, The Wiz, Antony and Cleopatra, The Comedy of Errors, and Off the Rails. He was also a part of two national tours with The Acting Company in productions of Macbeth, Richard III, and The Three Musketeers. Cedric is also a singer-songwriter who came out with his debut solo album Kingdoms and Tall Grass in 2015, and in 2011 his band The Life and Times Of was tapped as the #2 Underground Rock Band in NYC by the online music magazine, Knocks from the Underground.

Annie Paul* Annie Paul is an actor and teaching artist currently based in Ashland, OR. This is her third year touring with the School Visit Program. She has a Masters Degree from Case Western Reserve University/The Cleveland Play House. Annie has acted and taught in numerous states in the Midwest and on the East Coast. She has been on a few different television shows, web series, and a couple of short films. Some of her favorite theatre productions include: Twelfth Night, Cymbeline, As You Like It, Heartbreak House, Big Love, and Wait Until Dark.
