At a very young age Johnny B. Connolly generated a reputation as an accomplished button accordionist with talents that brought him across continents, performing and recording with internationally renowned artists such as Kevin Burke and The Chieftains. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Johnny has been immersed in Irish traditional music since he was eight years old. By the age of 15 he was performing with musicians twice his age and at just 17 he earned slot with the acclaimed Celtic group Anam. For the next two years, he continued to build his reputation in Dublin's trad scene and abroad with Anam, appearing throughout Europe and Ireland. In 1996 Johnny left Anam and crossed the Atlantic, performing in New York City and Boston before heading west to live in Portland, Oregon. There, Johnny merged his talents with those of guitarist Aidan Brennan, forming a duo that has entertained audiences from Alaska to Louisiana. A friendship with Kevin Burke, legendary Irish fiddler and fellow Portlander, led to Johnny's recording "Bridgetown," an album named for his adopted home.

Dale Russ's fiddling is known for its balance of power and elegance. Dale started playing the fiddle in 1973 after moving to Washington State from his native Connecticut. Although self-taughtand 100% Slovakhe was invited in 1990 to perform at the first Boston College Irish Music Festival, "My Love is in America," featuring 16 of the finest Irish fiddle players living in the States. The concert was recorded and released by Green Linnet Records and won an award from the Smithsonian as "Traditional Recording of the Year."
Dale was a founding member in 1977 of the Seattle Irish band, No Comhaile. In 1985 Kevin invited Dale and Tom Creegan to join Gerry O'Beirne and himself for a one-month stint at McGurk's, the home of traditional Irish music in Saint Louis, Missouri. A few short years later, Dale joined the then-premiere Seattle Irish band, The Suffering Gaels. As a sidelight, Dale teamed up with Jack Gilder and Junji Shirota to record two CDs as "Jody's Heaven." Dale also joined with Finn and fellow Seattleite Hanz Araki in making two CDs as the trio Setanta, and one recording with piper Todd Denman entitled, "Reeds and Rosin." He is also featured in the 1997 issue of Fiddler Magazine.

Cary Novotny was raised in South Dakota, later moved to Kentucky and eventually ended up in Stevenson, Washington which resulted in him performing professionally in the Portland and Seattle area for over two decades. Novotny possesses a powerful musical style, with strong rhythm and a sure sense of harmony and tone. He has recorded and performed with many great bands in the world of Irish music including Cul An Ti, Kevin Burke, The Bridies, Laurence Nugent, and Johnny B. Connolly.
