She hears a rustle in the bushes and looks up just in time to see a rabbit emerge. Her heart skips and the world stops. For a moment, she feels the echo of her baby's overactive feet thump thump thumping in her belly. She watches as the rabbits nose twitches in the air as it seems to look back at her. Hi Yasmina, my little Thumper, she whispers into the stillness between them. Then the rabbit dashes off taking the last sounds her baby made with it. She didnt even have the chance to say goodbye...
