The Wheatland Chorale: "Winter Light" Concert
NOT A SINGLE ORDINARY MOMENT Escape from the ordinary with a performance by the Wheatland Chorale. Known throughout the region for its shimmering sound, with artistic director, Eric R. Riley, this ensemble has reached new heights of artistry.
Our 2017 Holiday Concert Series is entitled "Winter Light". The Wheatland Chorale is celebrating its 30th Anniversary Season, and the theme for the entire year is, "Our Favorite Things." Much of the music to be sung consists of favorites performed over the past decades. A special treat is a celebration of the music of composer Douglas Weaver, who has supplied the Chorale with a number of sensitive, beautifully written compositions that highlight the group's special sound.
