Two strangers find themselves stranded at the Sierra Negra train station just before nightfalluntil a mysterious horse-drawn carriage offers the duo transport into the Black Mountains. Considered a classic of midcentury Mexican horror, El vampiro set an imitable new standard for this subgenre of gothic horror.

Sombra verde (Mexico, 1954)

A research scientist is sent by his pharmaceutical company into the jungles around Veracruz to find a wonder drug but instead comes upon a strange young woman. He falls in love but her father wants him dead.
Ricardo Montalbán, still a major Hollywood contract star at MGM, returned to Mexico to appear in this erotic jungle adventure film.
