Pegasus Theater Company presents "It's All Relative"
Pegasus Theater presents It's All Relative, the world premiere of four one-act plays on the meaning of family written by Sonoma County playwrights: Paternity by Russell Kaltschmidt, 2045 by Scott Lummer, Loud Money by Maureen Studer, and Audacity by Jacqueline Wells.
Directed by Athena Gundlach, these four approximately 20-minute plays will be presented together, beginning November 3rd and running through November 19th at the Graton Community Club.
As Tolstoy famously wrote, Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. But happy families dont make for very compelling drama, and its those much more interesting, entirely relatable, unhappy families that are featured in these 4 plays. In situations unimaginable in Tolstoys time, they show how weve re-defined family, how families fail or rise to stress tests, and how technological advances might affect them in the not-so-distant future.
The playwrights would like to hear from you, so please join them for a talk-back following the matinee on Sunday, November 12.
Friday and Saturday performances start at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. General admission is $18; except the first 2 Fridays, November 3 and 10, are pay-what-you-can. Seats for the pay-what-you-can performances are available on a walk-in basis only.
