JACOB JOLIFF & MAX JOHNSON
Known as two of bluegrass' most amazing virtuosos of the younger generation, Jacob Jolliff (mandolin) & Max Johnson (double bass) have teamed up to present an evening of blazing bluegrass virtuosity, beautiful brother harmonies, and outstanding original music. Between the two of them, they have performed with Del McCoury, Sam Bush, David Grisman, Jerry Douglass, Chris Thile, and this summer have already or will be performing at DelFest, Northwest String Summit, GreyFox Music Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, John Hartford Memorial Festival, Blue Ox, Red Rocks, and other premiere venues. But, amid their seemingly nonstop touring schedules, Jake with Yonder Mountain String Band and his own namesake project, Max with the Jeff Austin band and his international jazz career, the two have decided to embark on a duo tour together.
