2nd Annual BBQ on the Bend
You are invited to attend the 2nd Annual BBQ on the Bend Competition! A local people's choice competition will feature 8 great teams smoking up some of their best pulled pork for you to try and rate your favorite! Proceeds from this year's BOTB will benefit the James River Boys & Girls Club.
It will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at the Reeling & Rafting campground next to the Scottsville public boat landing. Competitors will be cooking off for a grand prize of $1000. Cookers will begin their smoking on Friday night and the gates will open to the public at 11am on Saturday.
Throughout the day we will have raffle prizes and live music. It's going to be a smoking good time so spread the word and we can't wait to see you there!
